Can you Null a warranty when another electrical contractor steps into your project?

CaliforniaConstruction Contract

We have an active project and the GC decided not to wait for us after a 24hr notice to return to site. They called another electrical sub-contractor and installed material in our original installations. Can i lawfully Null their warranty for the entire project?

Depending on your contract terms, typically contracts require warranty for completed work. If you were kicked off the project or your work was contaminated by others, then you have a good argument to nullify the warranty. Then, it would be up to the GC to prove that other sub's work was not the cause. That is often very costly to prove.
