I am a property owner who is being threatened by a drywall contractor with a mechanic's lien in Iowa. We had an agreement for a certain price and number of hours and he exceeded that by twice the amount. He's now trying to collect it by filing a lien. Can you help me defend the lien?

You can certainly fight the drywall contractor's claim and we can help. The best approach is to try to work this out. If that does not work and he files a lien, we can help defend it.
