Can you add interest and admin / processing fees (including filing costs) when placing an intent to actual lien?

Florida

My client won't pay. NTO filed. I don't know what else to put here that's not stated in the question.

Sorry - intent to lien or actual lien.

Do not add interest or administrative expenses to the lien amount. Interest is secured by the lien, but it has to be determined by the court (if there is a lawsuit) or by agreement if the matter is settled. As for administrative expenses since it is the lienor's burden to establish that the lien amount reflects the contracted value of labor, services and materials incorporated into the property it is better to be cautious and exclude such expenses. It could give the owner a legal basis to claim that the lien is exaggerated or that it includes improper items; that is, a fraudulent lien.
