We're an electrical contractor that will be called out a lot of times before we get a contract to do temp power on jobs under a T&M agreement which then usually ends up just going in as a change order under our contract. Once we do end up getting the full contract on the jobs, it's too late to do a preliminary notice. Are we supposed to do a preliminary notice before we get the contract? Or just put the first day worked as the first day on the job after we got the contract?
