Can we recover for rental equipment placed on a job?

I understand Alabama law is strict when it comes to unlicensed contractor's work, however, we are a separate company from the contractor who performed unlicensed work. We were contacted by the contractor to rent fans and dehumidifiers from us to dry out individual condo units. Our machines did not alter, repair, or attach to any structure. Our machines simply dried the air in the unit to help the material dry itself. We also had labor involved with the placement of the equipment and the monitoring of the drying process. Can we recover? It exceeds $100,000.00
