Hello. My company made a deal to loan a roofing crew and a supervisor to another company in California to teach them how to do a particular type of roofing. We are not licensed to do roofing in California so the deal included our employees going on the other company's payroll and they would be paid directly. My company was to receive compensation based on the hours our employees worked on their project for the training, we called it a consulting fee. Once the other company learned how to do the job they sent our crew packing and are now refusing to pay us. What can we do?
