Can we eliminate paragraph regarding residential contracts that require verification verbally or via phone.

Can we eliminate the paragraph regarding calling the contractor to verify if the signature is valid? This appears to only be referring to residential work and we are a commercial contractor only performing commercial contracting. We have a General Contractor who won't accept our waivers and defend themselves by stating they don't have the time to call every subcontractor to verify if the signature is correct.
