2010 we purchased air ducts as a company. we made payments on it and at the end we stopped because company that put the lien purchased from us tarps they also made a payment only and stopped so we though we where fine with each other. now that we are trying to refi. we have this lien and our lender spoke to them and they said that they would only remove if we paid them cash and not checks of money orders nor cashiers until then they would not remove. can a company file a mechanic lien to a company owners property although supplies where sold to the company only........ and no jobs or work where performed or made to the property that has a lien. can they file on the companies owner when they had sold supplies only to the company and not a personal tranaction? Please advise...I need to refi can it be removed?
