Can I write a clause in my contract to keep owners off the job site to minimize client interference?

North CarolinaConstruction Contract

I am a GC who builds custom homes and does remodels. Customers believe that because it is their house being built, that they have the right to be on the job site every day, sometimes all day or multiple visits per day even if there is no one there working. They do not understand the process and often simply Hijack the job. They attempt to direct the subs, change materials or plans (often after installation) invite neighbors to walk through the job site to check on ___, etc. Not only does owner presence create perpetual and costly changes and delays, I am concerned about the danger and liability factor. Can I put a clause in the contract that states the owner can only visit the job site by appointment and when accompanied by the GC or Designated representative? And in the case of a renovation, especially if the owner resides on site, how can I minimize owner interference?
