I have been a GC in NY for over 11 years and I am going to be moving down to Jupiter in the next 6 months. Is there an easy way to transfer licensing or do I have to start from scratch ?

There is now. Since you have a NY license for 10 years, you will fill out the application for endorsement. Check http://www.myfloridalicense.com/DBPR/construction-industry/ for a link to the applications and contact to the CILB office.
