Can I/Should I file mechanics lien
KansasIn Kansas last worked on subject party mid June approx 6 months ago Client sent partial payment with message in Memo stating if I cash them I accept as final pay …by mail in the form of Cashiers checks one for labor and one for materials furnished. Should I file lien or pursue in small claims?

If you wish to pursue the matter you should consult an attorney. It appears that your time to file a lien may have expired and you may have agreed to the amount paid being full payment.
