We entered into a settlement agreement with the General Contractor. Part of the negotiation was an agreement to release the lien. The Levelset lien cancellation document is called "Satisfaction & Release of Lien". I am a little reluctant in sending this letter because of the verbiage "Satisfaction". Our debt is not satisfied and I would like to reserve the right to file lien at a latter date if the terms of the settlement agreement are not kept by the GC. Can you provide further guidance on this please? The property is in the state of FL. Our last furnishing was in Feb.
