You would not have lien rights under Florida's construction lien law for merely making a money loan. To have construction lien rights you would have to be the one, or though your company, that actually furnished the labor materials and services, in addition to several other considerations. However, in Florida you may have rights to assert claims for breach of a loan agreement, account stated, quantum meruit, or other claims - but not a claim which would attach to the owner's real property as a lien before a judgment.
