I am about to file a lien - can I include $49 for the letter of intent to lien, $349 mechanics lien filing fee, and $149 lien removal fee in the total due?

Generally, the amount that is allowed to be claimed in a mechanics lien is the specifically limited to the actual value of the labor or materials furnished to the job. In the event the lien is foreclosed, the court may award interest, attorneys' fees, and costs of collection to the judgment.
In Texas,any amount unrelated to the value of the labor and/or materials furnished may not be included in the lien claim.
