Can I file lien on property for work rendered for a tenant

TexasNotice of Intent to Lien
Anonymous Architect / Engineer

We are an architect and interior design firm and wonder if we can still file lien against the client on nonpayment for design work for a lease space. The client may have a share of ownership on the property, but we are uncertain. Assuming they do not, can we still proceed with lien filing?

I hope you find your answer there, if not, you may visit our attorney directory page for Texas to find an attorney’s office in your area.
