I am a subcontractor that supplied a contractor with materials and he agreed on paying the balance in exchange for the windows. Contractor is now refusing to pay. What can we do protect ourselves an d collect our payment. What are my options?
If you have no lien rights, you can sue the contractor for breach of contract. You have 4 years from the breach on a written contract.
