Yes, although the preliminary notice will cover labor or materials furnished 20 days before the preliminary notice, and all work done after that time. So if more than 20 days have passed since you shipped the stone, it may not be covered for lien purposes. However, that would ultimately be up to a judge to decide. It’s still a good idea to always send out your preliminary notice even if it’s late because those are generally the people who get paid first by the GC or the owner.
