We are a small business who started some work with a company back on 9/19 after received approval via email and via phone conversation. We want to ensure it is not too late file a mechanics lien. We started the work on 9/12, There were multiple projects. The last one we worked on was on 10/14 through 10/16. Can we still file a mechanics lien. We have sent a prelimnary and NOI previously.
You can file a lien on the work you performed in October, but not September. Based on the 10/16 date you list above, I would get that lien filed today. Your time will run out tomorrow.
