Hello, We have a job in Luling, LA that was originally contracted for $54,607.20, and ended up at $87,089.94 after supplements. Our estimated last day on the job was 6/25/2022. A Notice of Contract was not filed. (Contract signed 02/09/2022 by owner, 02/16/2022 by contractor.) Nor was a filing of the notice of termination or of substantial completion or abandonment. The expiration to file a lien was 08/24/2022. Is there anything we can do? We received a payment from the customer as recently as last week. Their insurance company is dragging their feet on settlement.
