I am in Louisiana. Completed the job Dec, 23rd 2021. Customer just got final check from insurance and is not answering her phone. There were no complaints about my work. Only praises. I work with a licensed general contractor. I did not send or get signed a preliminary notice of lien rights. Am I out of luck or is there anything I can do. You probably can as I suspect the amount of the job was less than $100,000. You are within the 60 day deadline currently based on when you completed the work. You can also just send the homeowner a demand letter and sue them if necessary. Give us a call to discuss if you would like 504-323-5885.
