I am a subcontractor who worked on a two-level ADU. We were called in to complete the rough framing started by others. Began work on the 6th of October, 2021, and completed 10/29/21. We received 5 check payments. The last two were received on 12/20/21, and both were returned by the bank. Tried to talk with both the general and owner, but no payment results.
