I am a contractor and we did some work for this property. I missed the Lien deadline. I am in need of suing the person. Can I still do so?

Yes. If money is owed it is owed regardless of whether the debt is secured by a lien on the property. Your claims would likely be for breach of contract or unjust enrichment (depending on the facts). It's just that you can't bring a claim for foreclose the lien.
