We are mechanical Contractors in the state of Virginia. We have recently become SWAM Certified and a preferred provider for State Facilities. Can we place a lien on the property if the procument officer that hires us is not processing our work orders for payment?
If the properly is owned by the State, you cannot file a mechanic's lien against that property.
