Hello, I am wondering if there is any way I can lien a property here. It's a new construction single family home. We did the plumbing rough-in and also the HVAC rough-in on this place. The plumbing was done back in late September. The HVAC was done in October. I agreed to wait on the funds till they closed on the place which was supposed to be in November. That has not happened and we have not done the finish work yet. I just wanna cover my grounds and hopefully put a lien on the place but not sure that it's possible at this time in the project. That is a great question and one we get very frequently in the expert center. Before determining the Minnesota lien deadlines, it is important to keep in mind that there may be Minnesota preliminary notice requirements and that there are always timing requirements with which you must comply before a valid Minnesota mechanics lien may be filed.
