We have completed our part of contract on a job. Job has been turned over to owner. GC has stated retainage hasn't been released by owner yet as subs haven't completed punchout. After talking to other subs everyone has been told the same thing, even though all our punchout is done. GC is no longer responding to any of our emails or calls. We originally submitted retainage invoice back in October 2021 but then told in December 2021 that our retainage invoice wasn't accepted as owner hasn't released retainage. So technically GC has a retainage invoice and final waiver even though emails state retainage not open. In March 2022 we received some punchout items we completed all of those on 4/1/22. We have had no response from the GC since that date on when we may expect retainage. Retainage owed is $86,128.52.
