I performed extensive repair on a farmall tractor and the owner sneaked in when i was gone and took the tractor now i want to get paid and i know he won't willingly pay the bill, can i file a lien?

It's possible that you may be able to file a motor vehicle lien. There are remedies and laws for this. However, I don't know much information about these types of liens. I have knowledge only in mechanic liens on construction projects. It is clear that repairing a tractor would not be considered a "construction project," which qualifies for one of those types of liens. But there are lien remedies for motor vehicles, like tractors, and you could consult with an attorney with this specialty to get help with this. Good luck!
