Can I be in any trouble if I file a lien on a property I did work on which requires a licensensed

Missouri

I have worked for this contracting company for over 2 years now and I have completed several jobs on this one property totaling about $13,000 the lady gets mad when I ask her for what she owes me or if I give her another invoice or a letter asking if or payment in full. She keeps stalling and after many hours investigating I told this woman that I know how to do electrical and plumbing but I do not have a license to actually do it and she stated that they are a licensed contracting company and that I could do the electrical and plumbing work, working under the company's license and under there supervision. They do legally identify as a licensed contracting company. I have done some research and the company dont have any type of license and I checked and they also didn't pull any permits for the work I and other people have done and this is on some major renovations and repairs which would require a permit . Is there any trouble I can get in if I file a lien for the unlicensed work I did on the companys property they own that I did the work on? I never identified myself as a contractor or sub contractor it was never discussed. I was originally hired to put on a couple of doors in the house and put new door hardware throughout all the doors on the house and to install some new toilets so my jobs just escalated from there
