Can an individual file a lien waiver?

MissouriLien Waivers

My husband and I are going to have a cabin built on a piece of rural property that we own. We are going to be self financing, and basically acting as the GC. Where can we get a lien waiver template to use, and will we need to get them notarized to be legally valid? Also, do we need to file those with some authority, or just keep them for future reference.

1. Contact me and I'll provide you a template that you can use 2. It does not need to be notarized 3. They do not need to be filed 4. The real key is to get them from the subs/suppliers to the parties you hire
