Can an employee of a contractor file a mechanic's lien on a property in Massachusetts?

MassachusettsMechanics Lien

Good morning, Can an employee of a contractor file a mechanic's lien on a property in Massachusetts? I am not a subcontractor, but the employee of a sub. Thank you. Ian

Ian, Unless you have a written agreement for work with the General Contractor, the answer is no. It doesn't have to be a formal agreement.  Emails or texts can suffice. If you're not getting paid by your employer, you probably have a claim under the Wage Act.  Feel free to call me.
Sincerely,

 Andrea
