Can a supplier collect money after signing a unconditional Final?

Texas

We have a project that is over a year old. Our PM on the project ordered 9 light fixtures and they shipped 10. We received a UF 6/23/2020 and they are submitting an invoice for this project that has been closed for a year. The amount is 838. Am I legally obligated to pay this? My email is april.ciano@teamtitus.com. Thank you

April - there is no free lunch or gift of a light fixure. If you do not want the 10th light fixture, request that the supplier pick it up or accept the return and point out that only nine fixtures were ordered. It would be wise to confirm your request in writing to the supplier.

Good luck.

Hi Brian, Can I ask what is the point of a UF if they are allowed to come back a year after the fact? Thank you,
