Can a person put a lien on your house if you choose not to sale because the price is not what you agreed upon

MichiganLegal Property Description

I was selling my home to a company for 16,000 and when it was time for closing the price changed due to tickets on the property that I informed them of before the deal was made and I’m no longer willing to accept the new price

This is not a construction law but a contract question. I am afraid you are going to need to hire an attorney to review your purchase agreement for the house. I have advised clients to file a claim of interest (e.g. a type of lien) against real property if a sale did not close because of the seller's actions so its possible.
I have answered this question with a general knowledge of law and the limited information presented. My answer does not create an attorney-client
relationship. You may contact my office for more information if you want to retain my services.See More...
