I was hired to clean an office and they have not paid me my last check
I signed a contract to clean the office, put in an invoice and they still have not paid me.

Mechanics lien rights arise for work that permanently improves the project property. Work that's regularly required - like basic maintenance and cleaning - will generally not give rise to mechanics lien rights.
