I had a large limb removed from a pecan tree that is growing over my house. The owner of the tree company and I had a verbal agreement that he would cut the limb down to firewood size and stack it for me. Half the contract price was paid and the other half due at completion. He did not complete the job and left a pile of logs in my yard. When I asked when he was planning to return the complete the work, he said it is done and for me to pay him now or he will file a lien on my house. Is removing a tree limb lienable in Florida?
