I recently purchased a mobile home and had it put on my daughters land. The manager where I purchased the mobile home, added 15k to the amount of the home for a well and septic and advised me not to tell the finance company. He now has come back and stated I owe him $3500 more on the well and septic and if I don't pay it immediately he is going to file a mechanics loan on the property. I have asked for receipts/invoices from the installation of the well and septic and have not been provided with either. There is no contact pertaining to the well or septic and the property is not mine. Can he file the lien on the property?
