Hello. My husband was hired by our brother in law to do work on the home he just bought. They have a contract. My husband did not work fast enough, so the brother in law (who has mental health issues Nd has been hospitalized in the passed) started swnsing mean messages to both of us. Its very odd..anyway.. My hisband got the 1st payment, did the materials...did the material list, did a fence, did gutters, etc. He had about 3 or 4 more days and he would get the 2nd installment. Well..now they hired someone else ans brought all my hisband tools to our house. They left his air compressor in the rain. Is it legal for them to fire him and hire someone else even tho they have a written contract? In New Jersey
