We paid a general contractor for some residential construction. It was to finish a basement. He started the work in March of 2021, but has not touched the project since then. He keeps coming up with all the excuses of why he can't finish. But basically, He spent our money on another project, instead. He refuses to give our money back and says he can't afford to pay his guys to come back and finish. I had to pay out of pocket to finish purchasing the rest of the supplies. Everything has been on site since April. It's now January first, 2022
