I was subcontracted for a gdot project under a verbal agreement which included a thousand dollar retainer and promise of advancements as needed until completion. I signed the paperwork prematurely trusting that. When we were thru the hard part of the project and with 40 % completion I asked for a advancement. I’m 20,000 down out of my pockets before asking for the advancement promised and the contracter refuses payment . I have called and tried to reach out several times since and nothing . We pull out of the job and now still nothing. What do I do?
