Are construction sites protected from the new coronavirus ordinance set in Branson Mo

MissouriCoronavirus

With the new ordinance set in Branson Mo for public gatherings of 10 people or less. Does this ordinance apply to a construction site with over 100 employees?

Construction seems to be deemed "essential" under this list of essential businesses from the Kansas City area - which would mean construction could carry on, at least to some degree. However, I'm not sure it applies to Branson. Counties can vary by what they consider "essential" services. Though, if the job is a public work and/or will be providing some public benefit, then it'd seem more likely to be considered essential. To get the most up to date information on what kinds of businesses will be allowed to operate in Branson, MO - it'd be wise to reach out to your local government. If you can reach a representative, you should be able to get a clear cut answer on whether or not you'll be able to operate. Alternatively, if you're a member of a Missouri trade association, they may be a good central hub for information. Or, one of these Missouri construction attorneys might have more insight since they'll have local connections. You can contact each MO attorney from their personal page on the Expert Center.
