Moving to FL & wanting to start handyman business that can change outlets, ceiling fans, put in garbage disposals, change faucets, toilets, etc. I currently have no license but have been buying, gutting, remodeling houses for 15 years. I am a paint engineer (by experience) programing and fixing paint robots in auto industry. I was a project manager for one year when we put in a new paint line. No college education. All hands on experience working my way up. Would I qualify for the experience portion for a certified residential contractors license or what would my options be?
