I have a proposal to have a swamp cooler installed and ductwork installed which I signed, but there is no price in the proposal, nor was there any verbal price discussed. The price came in at $7, 500 plus. I cannot afford it. The contractor didn’t inform me directly of the$3,300 increase— and I didn’t hear anything from him for over a week He left me a voice message, saying the contract would be on the Lowe’s website.
