A customer abanonded his car, made it very clear that he doesnt want the vehical because he cannot afford repairs. He took out his belongings and left the car in my shop. He still owes on the car but also owes me. how would I go about putting a lein on the car and retrieving the title? I have no way in contacting him because he took out all of his belongings and is not answering his phone calls. Please respond , Thank you

That's an interesting situation, and I'm sorry to hear you've gone unpaid. At the Construction Legal Center, we specialize in providing legal information for construction law questions - and unfortunately, this is a little bit outside of our wheelhouse. However, the Georgia Department of Revenue appears to have a great resource on this subject here: Recording a Lien and Security Interest on a Title. Good luck!
