A mechanics Lean was filed what are my next steps as I have 90 days to my understanding.

California

Contractor hired me, home owner paid contractor, contractor left the country, so home owner says he does not have to pay me since he already paid. I designed the plans for construction on the house.

You must file the Foreclosure action lawsuit before the 90 days are up.

After a Notice of Completion is filed, all remaining Preliminary Notices must be filed within 10 days after the Notice of Completion is filed and the time to file a lien is reduced to 90 days instead of 180 days. <!--td {border: 1px solid #cccccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;}--><a href="https://www.myfortiva.org/">MyFortiva</a>
