Bennet Legal Group's founding partner Brian Bennet is not only a lawyer. He is a physicist, engineer and a contractor who became a lawyer for the specific purpose of providing legal expertise to the construction industry with the added benefit of having a practical sense of the issues faced every day by owners, design professionals, and contractors. His general construction experience includes project management of commercial projects, including a $10 million dormitory for the College of Charleston and a $7 million alumni center for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. During his tenure in the construction industry, Brian obtained significant practical experience with issues that are unique to construction litigation. Brian’s sole purpose for attending law school was to become a construction lawyer and that has been the primary focus of his entire legal career. Brian is a board certified specialist in construction law.
