Vishal Justin Patel was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. After earning his undergraduate degree in Marketing and Professional Sales from Louisiana State University, he obtained his Juris Doctor from the Charleston School of Law. During his time in law school, Mr. Patel served as President of the Business Law Society, member of the Executive Leadership Council, and Student Ambassador. Upon successfully passing the uniform bar exam, Mr. Patel has been admitted to both the State Bar of Texas and the South Carolina Bar.
Growing up actively involved in the hospitality industry, Mr. Patel developed a keen interest in assisting business owners navigate various legal issues and transactional needs. Throughout the last few years, his experience has ranged from working with the general counsel of a prominent private equity firm in Frisco, TX to a major hospital system in Charleston, SC. Most recently, he was employed with a boutique transactional law firm in Mt. Pleasant, SC working on corporate, securities, and commercial real estate transactions.
