About Renae Feilmeier
Renae Feilmeier is a Wahoo, Nebraska native. Her legal career began at a large law firm in Omaha, Nebraska, where her practice was focused on employment law and insurance coverage disputes. From there, Ms. Feilmeier took a position as corporate counsel for an international golf course construction and management firm based in Lincoln, Nebraska. She later took on the added responsibility of serving as human resources manager for the company, directing and overseeing all human resource functions for 1700+ employees located throughout the U.S., China and Mexico.
In her role as corporate counsel, Ms. Feilmeier structured and managed all legal relationships for the company's three business divisions - construction, management and real estate. This provided her with significant experience in the areas of employment law, commercial contracts, construction contracts and claims, real estate, corporate governance, compliance of every kind and immigration. She specialized in finding creative solutions that struck the right balance between mitigating legal risks and advancing business objectives, making her both a legal advisor and business partner. With over a thousand employees, Ms. Feilmeier also had the opportunity to assist with family law matters ranging from custody to divorce to child support enforcement. Though not in the job description, helping her employees and their families through the most sensitive issues became a passion for Ms. Feilmeier.
Building on her passion and experience gained over the past 16 years, Ms. Feilmeier has a broad practice that focuses on family law matters, commercial contracts, business formation and governance, construction contract drafting and negotiation, construction claims and liens, employment counseling and claims, commercial and residential real estate transactions, and estate planning.
