About Paola Jurado
Paola Jurado is a licensed attorney in Colombia, with over ten years of experience in Construction Law. She is a specialist in land planning and Urban Law and also has a Master’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning. Paola has served as an advisor for Columbian Mayors, Governors, Senators and several elected officials in terms of urban development and land planning. While working as an independent consultant, she represented national and foreign investors in the construction industry. She is particularly proud of several projects she developed in her hometown, the City of Cartagena, Colombia.

While serving as a Cabinet Member for the Governor of Bolívar, Colombia, she presented several proposals for land use, and participated as a panelist for forums on city development. Paola wrote articles such as "The North Zone of Cartagena", and is included in the published book, “Textos Convexos: The urban development of Cartagena” which contains the experiences and planning proposals for the development of the City of Cartagena de Indias.

Paola has been in charge of construction projects, among them are the Mangrove Spirit Park and The Blue Crab Park. She coordinated and directed the majority of the activities from conception to completion. These projects are considered excellent examples of urban intervention for the improvement of the environment, security, and coexistence among neighbors of the community.
