Michael began his legal career as an Assistant State Attorney with the 12th Circuit State Attorney’s Office in Sarasota, FL. While there he prosecuted felony, misdemeanor and juvenile criminal cases. After leaving the State, Michael joined a Martindale Hubbell A/V Rated midsized law firm in Orlando where he handled complex multiparty civil litigation cases with multimillion dollar claims at issue. Michael opened The Law Office of Michael L. Dear, P.L.L.C. to provide creative, efficient and client-centered representation to business and individual clients.
Michael is the current President of the Alpha Tau Omega Housing Corporation at UCF and is an active member in the Orange County Bar, Young Lawyer Section where he has chaired multiple charitable and social committees.
