Megan A. Shapiro practices civil litigation with an emphasis on various business-related disputes, including breach of contract and breach of fiduciary duty. In addition to handling various matters for her corporate clients, Megan also practices in the areas of unlawful detainer, employment law, entertainment law, construction defect litigation and criminal defense. Megan represents clients in dozens of commercial and residential construction defect matters. Megan has successfully settled cases for pennies on the dollar where the client’s exposure ranged in the six-figures.
Prior to joining Radoslovich Shapiro, PC Attorneys, Megan’s practice was split between civil litigation and criminal law. As an intern at the Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office, Megan successfully conducted approximately fifty bench trials and had a success rate of 88%. After graduation, Megan found the intersection of civil litigation and criminal defense in her capacity as a defense attorney representing hundreds of adult and juvenile parolees at parole revocation and extension hearings. In recognition for her outstanding work on behalf of her clients, Megan was approached to participate in a pilot re-entry court program in San Francisco, where she represented all defendants assigned to the court through the conclusion of the pilot program.
