About Maxwell Njelita
Maxwell’s work focuses entirely on litigation. Since 1999 when he began practicing law in California, he has successfully handled hundreds of cases in both state and federal courts, including many jury and court trials. And he has effectively helped many of his clients with their appeals to the Courts of Appeal. His focus is on helping clients find well-crafted legal solutions to real estate, business, employment, probate, wills and trust problems without trials, and successfully trying cases where reasonable settlements cannot be found.

After earning his law degrees, Maxwell also received an M.B.A (Master of Business Administration) from Middlesex University in London.

Maxwell has an unshaken belief that litigation should be used as a tool, precisely applied, to achieve each client’s objectives—with a constant eye on the client’s interests, goals, budget, and unique circumstances. This belief, coupled with his business training and legal background, equips Maxwell to act both as a counsellor in advising clients about ways to find a reasonable settlement; and as a trial attorney, if a case must go to trial.

Maxwell is a member of the Charles Houston Bar Association, National Bar Association, and the Association of MBAs, and a past member of the Earl Warren American Inn of Court. He also served on the Oakland Unified School District’s 7-11 Surplus Property Advisory Committee, commonly called a 7-11 Committee.
