Matthew S. Shorr, a Partner with York & Wainfeld, APC, has been in practice for more than 30 years, specializing in all aspects of civil litigation. He has a particular focus on representing crane and equipment service operators in catastrophic personal injury and property damage claims, construction law, and business litigation. Mr. Shorr’s practice has also included construction defect, insurance coverage, and professional liability matters. He has represented developers, general contractors and subcontractors in complex, multi-party actions for crane and construction related accidents; construction defects; mechanic’s lien claims; claims for construction impact damages; and breach of construction contracts.
Mr. Shorr received his Juris Doctorate from Southwestern University School of Law and went on to obtain his LL.M. degree from the University of Cambridge, Queens’ College, England. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University, Northridge.
He is licensed to practice before all courts of the State of California, as well as before the U.S. District Court, Central, Eastern and Southern Districts, and the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.
